How can I reuse or recycle old radiators?
We’ve had a message from Lindsay, wondering what she can do with an old radiator.
She’s posted it on Freecycle but hasn’t had any interested in it – so has anyone got any ideas about how she can recycle or reuse it?
She hasn’t said whether it’s a cool old one like in the picture or a more modern one but suggestions for either would be appreciated.

I want to make a solar hot water system reusing old radiators from the Chch NZ earthquake. There should be heaps of them about. Can you advise me the weblink url that you refered to in a recycling post in 2006?

Some people in Russia place several of them together to make strong under layer for the gravel driveway.
It will be worth a couple of dollars at the scrapyard for recycling
