How can I reuse or recycle cigarette packets?
A couple of our friends smoke and while they usually roll their own, occasionally a cardboard hard pack ends up floating about too and it makes me wonder what they can be re-used for – since they’re pretty sturdy but light constructions.

Any suggestions?

As they are cardboard, I rip the foil inners out and put them in the recycle bin. I guess they could also be composted, must try that one day….

They are great during cold and allergy season for used tissues, especially if you’re in public, and there’s no garbage can nearby, and you won’t have to stick the used tissue in your pocket.
I have learnt to do the arigami with that innder metallic paper for table decoration for functions and children’s birthday events. the outter cardboard box can be recycled.
